What is a Nursing Home?
Nursing homes offer 24/7 nursing care for individuals who are medically stable but require ongoing nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living.
There are 70 licensed nursing homes across New Brunswick. All nursing homes in New Brunswick are privately owned and operated.
Nursing homes are licensed and regulated by the Department of Social Development (Government of New Brunswick). Admission to a nursing home must be approved through the Department of Social Development.
